1. The Service
Arapahoe County Residents Directory is a privately operated reference to public rolls, record indexes, and historical collections. It links to sources that may show who owns, registered, appeared, or was listed at a place, but it hosts no government record and has no affiliation with any office, court, library, or custodian.
2. Lawful Use Rules
Use the material only for lawful personal, family-history, civic, and record-verification purposes. You may not use it or a linked tool to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm another person.
- Locate someone protected by a court order or confidentiality program.
- Commit identity theft, fraud, impersonation, or another offense.
- Make credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or other FCRA-regulated decisions.
- Scrape, republish, or copy the pages at scale.
- Interfere with the service, its security, or another reader’s access.
3. No Consumer Reports
The service is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. §1681 et seq. Nothing on the pages or in a linked result is a consumer report. No material may be used to decide eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another purpose governed by that law.
4. External Sources
Government portals, libraries, archives, sponsored search boxes, and other linked services set their own terms, prices, privacy practices, and availability. A link is provided for reference and does not mean the operator controls or endorses the outside source.
5. No Warranty
The pages are supplied as available and without warranties. No promise is made that a fact, fee, coverage year, portal field, link, or search result is complete, accurate, current, or available at the moment it is used.
6. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar damages connected with use of this service or an outside resource, including a decision based on a record found through it.
7. Indemnification
You agree to protect and hold the operators harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable attorney fees arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these terms.
8. Original Material
The original writing, design, logo, and layout belong to the site operator or its licensors. Brief attributed quotations and ordinary links are welcome. Full-page republication, systematic copying, and commercial extraction are not permitted without written consent.
9. Updates
These terms may be revised by posting a new version. Using the service after a revision is posted indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Access Restrictions
Access may be blocked or limited when a user violates these rules, abuses a form, threatens a person, interferes with security, or otherwise misuses the service. Restriction may occur without advance notice.
11. Colorado Law
Colorado law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Public-record references include the Colorado Open Records Act, C.R.S. §§24-72-201 through 206, but CORA exceptions and custodian procedures remain in force. Colorado’s Privacy Act, C.R.S. §§6-1-1301 et seq., may apply to covered data and businesses, not to every public record or every service.
12. Severability
If a court finds one provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. The invalid part is limited only as much as needed to make the rest effective.
